In response to a Pewforum article on the talk between a McClay and Dionne, Jr. regarding Reinhold Niebuhr whom Obama agrees with his teachings....look him up:

For the past 2000 years, theologians and religious folk have completely
misunderstood the mystery and miracle of Jesus Christ. From the Pope
to Obama, they just don't "get it"...Jesus died for one reason, and one
reason only: to free all from their sins prior to acceptance of him.
The great mystery is: those of world who accept him as Christ must
live life and believe as he did. There are no other choices. All this
"talk" about neo-conservatives, uberprogressives is nothing. Until a
human being understands fully, completely and without doubt what it
actually means to "accept Christ" no amount of any talk will make one
wit of difference. So few have ever, have or will come to a honest
understanding that the majority of the past, present and future
population of the world will meet again in the hell of their own
creation.
