God's grace wasn't on women or minorities pre-l960 in any big way. I am certain that there were no "free lunches" or "affirmative action"....no Pell Grants, and all of the entitlements that Sonia Sotomayor or Michelle Obama as well as our President could claim just a generation later. But, I was part of the problem: I marched and stood up for Womens Rights in the 60's before the movement was taken over by the hate group. Only much later did it become clear that hate moved and motivated this group in the late 60's and beyond as it has almost every organization run by the Left, Uberleft or Liberal. The moderate Liberals left the planet a long time ago and today we face the Uberleft...that intolerant, fascist group determined to take away the rights of everyone, ultimately, but the white man and his race for the time being.
But, to get back to Sonia, she was born 11 years later than I and her parents divorced. I really don't what that means to those who tout it, but my parents didn't. I think maybe they should have, they never learned to get long with each other but they did stay with each other. But, my parents had 6 children, I was the oldest. I took care of them while they both worked and in the Fifties that was rare. We started in Manhattan but moved West to California (where my aunt and uncle lived) after a separation. Mom picked us up and moved herself and the children by Greyhound to the opposite coast. Oh, they got back together, true and set the stage fors my introduction to discrimination on a very personal level several years later. The discrimination came from the very people that should have embraced me: the Hispanics! I had been raised without bigotry so that the venom and violence directed towards my person was frightening!! I never figured out the why of it, but can only say that I was not allowed by my mother to become a part of their group. I thank my Mom to this day.
All of my family was raised without bigotry. I acknowledge that they were not raised in this country but came later and took citizenship. My five siblings were born here and were taught as I was...no bigotry!! So, does Sonia come by her bigotry from being raised in New York City? The City that never sleeps and is always bigoted towards non New Yorkers. Chuck Schumer, Senator from New York, is a classic example!!
Anyway, Sonia has the opportunity I didn't to take advantage of government entitlement programs, she ended up in Princeton...where does the innate bigotry come from....college professors? The indoctrination and brainwashing by loyal Alinsky disciples like Ayers? You have to be deaf, dumb and blind not to see as you mature, that the world is so much worse than America; countries around the world are stuck in poverty, uneducated without hope or future. Or as in Europe, treated as children to be cared for without allow growth or maturity to reach the common masses...unless you have yours.
The dictators of this world have for tens of thousands of years prevented human beings from trying to fulfill their potential. Not until America was found and then the Republic founded in the eighteen hundreds, did the concept of democracy as practiced here exist. Is it because those on the side of racism, bigotry, intolerance believe that an Idi Amin Dada are better for the world? I know they fervently believe that Castro, Raul and Chavez are good people, why even Sean Penn sings their praises (now that he has his, of course). Obama recently bowed (yes, that is what he did...check out the front, side and back view if you don't believe me) to the Saudi King....but not the the English monarch? And the Mrs. broke protocol by laying hands on the Queen. So, a Saudi King trumpets an English Queen? Please, give me a break. What exactly have the Saudi's done beside provide 19 hijackers that killed 3,000 Americans?
The Republicans on the Judiciary Committee had better ask the tough questions....she may make it through, but she should not slide through on the slime that passes for the Uberleft. They to stand up to her and the loonies and ask the questions. It is time the GOP grew some stones and used them for the benefit of this country and its people. I promise them I will become Independent and never vote for a Republican again if they fail us this time.....John McCain are you paying attention?
