Have not written since September, 2008....I had thought I had written all I could what with Nobama going to win....in fact a commentator on my blog alluded to my "throwing" the election too soon...but, I didn't. When the financial mess came to the fore, it was a foregone conclusion and so I stopped because, what more was there to say. A bit ago, I reread briefly skipping throughout what I had written...being right just doesn't cut it for me but truth is truth!!
I have been frustrated with the GOP being so inept. It isn't truly their fault you know. Most of them were raised by decent, civil, respectful human beings that loved their children and believed in the traditions of this great country. They knew there were many faults with America, but because of the upheaval in the 60's they thought that perhaps we were beginning to address them. After all, we had been involved with two world wars, the care and feeding of millions throughout the planet both during and after both of those wars. That we also used our blood, sweat, tears and money to rebuild and feed all of Europe and Japan and then had to deal with Korea cost us 50 years of problem fixing here at home. However, what the wars did was to allow America to realize its potential as a force for good in this world. Somehwhere in this blogs' beginnings I have written abut the Douglas Democrats and how they took over the Democratic Party and today are the results of America hating Americans. The George Soros, Petersen and Gelsen's of this world are billionairs and also progressives (that's what they call themselves now...not Douglas Democrats"equalize" everybody in America. The progressives don't understand and simply don't care. They have made their billions as have their friends and could care less about what this new socialist turn will do to you and me and this wonderful country.
Barack Obama, I truly believe, doesn't get "it"..., his wife does as does Rev. Wright, Ayers, et.al....
but they all have theirs and mostly at our expense. Barack will ruin this country because, having never worked a real job in his life, never owning a business or having to run a large company has left him outside the experience of most average Americans. He is half white and black; his mother did not, in my opinion (and I am a mother) devote the attention and time necessary to assure that her child would have the confidence needed to survive to adulthood. He was abandoned and then raised by his white grandparents who took him in and supported him, helped him get to school and then to university. How did Obama get his schooling paid for? Did he get grants or school loans? How and who paid it back if he borrowed money to go in the first place? What kind of grades did he get? When did he pass the bar and which try was it...first or? So many questions that would help us understand the man. However, as I have already written, look to those who were part of his life for the past twenty five years and you have an inkling of the man himself.
