An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had recently failed an entire class. That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.
The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan". All grades will be averaged and everyone will receive the same grade so no one will fail and no one will receive an A.... (substituting grades for dollars - something closer to home and more readily understood by all).
After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little..
The second test average was a D! No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F. As the tests proceeded, the scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else. To their great surprise, ALL FAILED and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed. It could not be any simpler than that.
Remember, there IS a test coming up. The 2012 elections.

Response on the Wall Street Article articls about "The Buffett Ruse":

     All the teeth ghashing, mea culpas, right or left are totally meaningless. Everyone needs to come from where Obama comes from: use the "rich" to pay for 100% dependent population control. By his managing (he thinks) his crony corporations and picking/choosing in everyday situations, he firmly, as does the progressive party believe that he can create the perfect socialistic society. And, he is right in that because humans are by nature greedy and will take rather than give. However, unless the planet can be converted to the Progressive thinking of the Left, there are places to go and grow your own way and leave America behind. For any thinking person, look at the results of totalitarianism that resulted from the aspirations of socialistic philosophy: Stalin, Hitler, Mao to name just the biggest murderers of the 20th century. We need only look at the world prior to the establishment of America...look at it now as we may be leaving the stage and you will know what was and will be. Is this what we want? Have we reached the place where we as Americans will accept lie, cheating and stealing on every level of our society? These are the questions we must face!!

     I did not watch him....I tried three times to click over but just had to click back.  I knew in September of 2008, before the election, that he would win and be a disaster for our country.  The only thing I didn't foresee was that he would be the worst of the worst president in the history of this country....why?  Because he is an ideologue that is disingenuous and distorts, not only his perceived accomplishments, but, distorts the Republican/Conservative/Independent point of view.  He and his cronies in the Congress and some corporations including that clown, Buffett, who may think he is "cute" but is truly an imbecile of the first order.  To say that he pays less on his investment income than his secretary's 28% on her earned income is so far out of the polite world that I can truly say he lies through his teeth.  Maybe, because Buffett is so old and becoming a doddering fool, that he forgets that one must first "earn" a living and if there is any money left over after paying the 35% rate, invests the difference and makes a profit then has to pay a second tax of 15%....or, 50%!!!!
Buffett and Obama honestly think the majority of Americans are idiots and fools and could not begin to understand the facts they ignore.  Like the Uberlefty, Alan Colmes, they cannot even think about voicing truths, it would destroy, not only themselves, but anyone who follows them.  How do we get the message to Mitt to quit being so damn "nice"...he doesn't have to do a Gingrich (and I do love Newt),
 but he can certainly do the CEO bit because he has had tons of experience.  Talk like he knows what he is saying and isn't ashamed to tell the truth....hard as it must be and not "hurt" others.  Remember, he is devout and adheres to his beliefs....Like all good and decent people it is hard to point out the true ugliness of a thing, person or place.  But, tell it like is with with the authority he has so much experience with, Mitt must.  The sooner the better.

     There is so much to read, to know, to understand and share.  However, it is difficult.  For family,, friends, associates, blog readers and readers of postings and/or comments, it is so hard.  There are such wonderful writers for the Right.  Writers who do not use deception, demagoguery, viscerally horrific personal attacks, name calling and questioning not only truthfulness but patriotism are members of the uberprogressive extreme leftwing-nut arena.  They call themselves Democrats...a long dead species of political animal.  They call themselves supporters of us...you and me and then do things to harm us.  They are, what could evolutionarilly called parasites to the body human.  They destroy with words, deeds and weapons of every sort that allows them to achieve their goal.  Submission of you and me to them.  Perhaps Barack Obama doesn't understand this or mean to have it done to us.  But, his speeches, writings and supporters are of a different ilk.  So, what to do, what to do.

That is just the barest surface of the problem:   l930-40's numerous Jewish intellectuals and elitists fled Germany and settled in the Northeast...later many became influential and Columbia was their "home"...they didn't like American ways so they created their own "world"...still exists today.

In the l930's, a group known as the "Douglas Democrats" that wished to "change" America and had failed since the l800's, joined the Democratic Party and began the takeover you see today...they called themselves progressives as they do now. 
1960's was a time for Ayers and his ilk and yes, many of the longhaired anarchists became professors...what a better way than to indoctrinate from within.  My brother got caught up with a "pinko" group and helped the FBI when he wised up and wanted out.
The "Women's Movement" was taken over by those groups and have been very successful in castrating our man and turning our boys into useless toyboys.  That movement was about money, period....when I co-founded a N.O.W. group, those were the only members...why was I included?  So they could say they were balanced!  Kinda of what the progs do today.  Anyway...thank for letting me rant...don't do it often enough!!! any reason or facts on their positions, they decided in the l960's to embed them!  That's why, so often we cannot believe what they say or how they understand what they read or hear.  Watch Krugman, Pelosi, Reid, Schumer and the rest of the Uberprogressive leftwing nuts!

     Finally, I have gotten the blog from my desktop to my laptop.  Nothing I did at the Townhall site let me
do it...no one answered my emails for help!  But, to persevere is the thing!  So, we are at it again!   Obama vs
us.  At least a good portion of the people cannot ignore what has happened these nearly 3 years.  Oh, I know, the
media is still in the tank but not quite the 124% of 2008.  Maybe, perhaps, possibly we have a chance.  What say you?

It took thousands of years before there existed a code of living as much of a decent, moral life within the cultures of the world.  With the Judeo-Christian philosophy it was a beginning.  But, we must remember that hominids have a great habit and urge to manipulate their and others lives.  So, what was a good reason for say Jews not to eat pork, or certain seafood...got twisted into the religion.  There was a good reason based on millions of years of evolution (I don't think you can debunk religion on that score because who says a God can't do what he wants for as long as he wants):  sex was, in the beginning of the hominid, a reproductive activity just like all other animals on the planet.  There had been aberrations with animals, but by and large if not used that way the species died away.  The elimination of racism, chauvanism and homophobia came into play seriously when America came into being...it was the first time in the history of mankind that there was a country that set itself up as a citadel of freedom for the individual.  People need to remember that so they can understand that what was in place for  tens if thousands upon thousands of years, can't be removed in under 100 years, but in the USA it began to seriously change, not without much hate and unhappiness...but, it is so easy to become so ugly that what that idiot did to Bristol just goes to show that homosexuals are no better than anyone else.  They are haters of the first order.  I have often wondered if that hate is not inner directed and used outwardly so as not to destruct! Homosexuals need to clearly understand that if they lived in the Middle East and parts of the rest of the world, they would face real torture, mutilations and ugly deaths!  They should show an appreciation for the cost a majority of Americans suffer because they have been forced to follow a way of living they disagree with.  But, that is the difference between the imbecile in the article and decent people...we don't beat up on girls!!

In actual fact:  everyone who works for a minimum level pays the payroll tax..this is the Social Security tax.  If you own property you pay real estate taxes.  If you buy anything, you pay sales taxes.  If you use any utility or drive, you pay those taxes.  If you have cable or a cellular device, you pay taxes.  But, if you are below the poverty rate, you can lower your utility bills, get a free cell phone, get food stamps, free health care through Medicaid, plus at the end of the year you will pay ZERO federal and state income taxes but you can get up to an $8,000.00 check back from the IRS from the Earned Income Credit.  Most "poor" people, own cars, flat screen televisions, have computers, some own their homes, their children get free breakfast and lunch, and in some states get free dinner.  There is subsidized housing which can mean up to 66% off the rent.  And, I know for a fact that many get their parents into the program plus, if your are eligible for Medicare and are "poor" you can get Medicaid too and literally pay ZERO for everything others pay for!  So, Josh, if you in agreement with this, welcome  to the American welfare country that is broke, bankrupt, finished!

Nothing but problems with this blog on Townhall and no response to me email for help.  I bookmarked this site when I started the blog:  Sharinlite....and if I use this computer, I can get on...but I have a laptop now and use it alot...but I cannot get online to Townhall...and that is a terrible problem and with the election coming for 2012 I don't know what to do.  I have emailed again.  I have copied the url line exactly and pasted onto my laptops line...no go....I sign in and one page says "Hi" but another says "sign in"....what is going on???

So, even though this computer is old and slow, I am going to try and post via it.

I wrote this back in September of 2007....rereading it today continues to add continuity to my thoughts

The "Why" of it An email conversation caused me to do a bit of research on the political parties in America. I generally knew that the Deomocratic Party had ruled here in this country for about 100 years. With the losses only in l980,l982,1984, 1994, briefly in 2000 and, of course, nothing since.

What I discovered, however, was that the Left or some like type had actually been in power in this country since before 1825! There were the Whigs, Free Soil, Know Nothings and Bull Moose Progressives to name a few. When the Republican and Democratic Parties become more mainstream, these different parties split with half to the Republican and half to the Democrats. What I found instructive was that those in favor of a more agrarian country and pro slavery generally migrated throughout this period towards the Left side of ideology. This is simplistic, but the post needs to be as concise as possible.

Their true loss of power didn't really get achieved for any long period of time, until the current Bush Administration. Eight years out of power in 30 is difficult to say the least.

My focus, however, was on a group that had operated separately until the early 20th century when they merged with the Democrats. They were called the Douglas Democrats. They were largely responsible for Roosevelt's social programs before the WWII and have continued to increase in power gradually until the 1960's when their agenda became part of the anti-war movement. The first time they could and did change the direction of this country. Their "good intentions" for the rest of us based on their ideology created the road paved with gold that has led America to the Hades we have experienced in every part of our country since the 1970's.
They are not, in my opinion, so much Left as truly anti anything American. They believe that they are the leaders in an ideology that stresses the socialist meme of: we know what is best, we will make sure you follow what we say and you will pay with your taxes to make our wishes possible, and you can't do a thing about it!

That is where the hate and vicious vitrol come from, they have not been able to take the reins of this country and until George W. Bush they were confident that their time had come! Bush halted them. In the past five years, they have gradually been exposed for what they are. They have aligned themselves with the existing Fifth Column, Communists and Anarchists and 'hate' became their operative raison d'etre. The middle of the road, reasonable, moderate side of the Left is almost gone. And, as Kos has learned, no one can control them now.

This group has been part of the American landscape since before its inception and continues to this day. One question: do the supporters of these people understand what the goals are? Or, is the hatred too much to listen to reason.

So, is it any wonder why "they" hate America so much. Will Americans make the mistake of voting them in this year in the congress and then let Hillary/Kerry/Gore or some other with their goals gain the presidency?

Did we come in too late in Egypt and, if so why?  Here for me is the heart of the problem:

   The hardest part of the problem is:  are the actions taken by this Administration because they believe that it is the way to change things toward the progressive left?  Or, is it incompetence and the belief that anything that is said and done by the USA will be heeded? 
     Nothing has gone right since Barack Obama took office and inserted his "czars", cabinet and bureaucratic heads.  We are still losing jobs, companies moving overseas, regulations choking what business is left (except for Wall Street..here, he seems to embrace his cronies like Jeff Immelt who took GE from $400 billion to $14 billion) costing every taxpayer more money for everything!  I attribute this to an ideology that professes to know all for all and the incompetence of professors, agitators, community organizers and ideological teachers like Piven, as an example, that are in the Administration plying their trade:  transformation of America into a European example?  No!  They are trying for a THIRD WORLD status for the USA because they truly believe we are guilty of everything that is wrong in the world.  They are a complete bunch of incompetent loons, in my opinion!

There no longer is any doubt about Barack Obama and his ideology:  he is one of two things as most around him are...(1) completely ignorant of who and what the Muslim Brotherhood is truly all about (doubtful), or (2) is a sympathizer for the totalitarian, theocracy of brutality that is the Muslim Brotherhood.  If (1) is true, then Obama can do a complete about face.  If (2) is right, then, he has given Al Qaeda, Hezbollah and every other terrorist organization in the world the go ahead sign and people everywhere are no longer safe.  What have we, in America, wrought?  This is the change he wanted and that we rooted for (well, me not, but...)....I am ashamed to think that the women of the world, in particular the Middle East and Africa will bear the brunt of this insanity.  Their blood will soak the world and Barack Obama will have it on his head. 
     But, you can see that perhaps #2 is right on...he just gave his thumbs up for MB to be "part" of the Egypt solution.  But, he is more interested in what happened with Obamacare.  Like Chuck Schumer, senator from New York, Obama never conceived of the thought that perhaps his power grab bill would be found unconstitutional....he believed the hype by Pelosi and Reid and swallowed by Chuck that the three branches of government in America are the Executive, House and Senate.  Huh?  What does this thinking show us?  Are they truly so cocky about the power they grabbed and will continue to grab that they feel soon they will make their dream a reality.  The executive, house and senate. 
     I am fatigued and will rest to fight later in the day!!

My response to the idiocy of Mediate.com's columnist Frances Martel article on a segment of Bill O'Reilly's program tonight with Glenn Beck:

     O.K., here we go:  WWI was started by the excuse of some "nut" shooting the royal.  Who here knows why these European countries act like they do?  Then with France's insistence, the iron boot is put on the necks of the German people:  unemployment, starvation ensued which allowed the maniac Hitler to begin to take power.  Is it any wonder the Germans hated the French?  France, is the most anti-semite countries over there...Austria comes in second.  So, Germany builds up again, secretly, using cardboard cutouts to help train the troops and begins to grab bits and pieces.  What does Europe do?  Well they try to appease the fool and they give in to his demands.  He continues to grab what he wants until he puts boots the on the ground and WWII starts.  So far so good.  Now, as to the Muslim Brotherhood, a sociopath or psychopath, not sure which, Sayyid Qutb is co-founder of the Muslim Brotherhood and makes his way to America when he is 43....he attracted and appalled at the licentious of the women...half naked and coming on to him!  Got it so far?  But, this is not 2010 folks, this is l943 in Greeley Colorado....can you see half naked women in Greeley?  Please.  So he goes back home with severe hatred in his heart, and advocates the destruction of this horrible country called America.  He uses the Muslim Brotherhood in the same way Hitler used the Gestapo and the SS...after all, the Muslim Brotherhood was trained by them and even had them come to Egypt to teach all of the 'brothers".  In the meantime, he marries the allowed four wives and believes you have to have sex every day with each and every one...but part of that "ritual" is his use of a belt he bought in Colorado that has a heavy buckle to hook onto the pommel and he uses it to keep his wives "happy"...sexual psychopath anyone?  O'Reilly is just one of many many Americans that don't have a clue about the Muslim Brotherhood.  They were trained in the 40's by the German Nazis.  The Nazis sent SS Gestapo to Egypt to train their "security" forces.  The top Imam at the time spent months with Hitler.  And, O'Reilly is unconvinced?  Frances, do your research before you use such a dumb gambit to put down Glenn, Bill and Fox!  I have to say though, that MSNBC and the lamestream media must be taking lessons from old Goebbels' playbook!  Wonder where they found that.  No matter.  If Egypt falls and a theocracy like Iran is in place, it will to late for anyone to say "oh, I didn't know that.."

     I was right, I believe, in my previous post regarding the "speech".  Obama's heart was not in it.  To be so unassertive so uninvolved was truly something to see.  Not that the President  wanted  that.  The President tried, I believe, with all his heart to come across as a vitally involved man, but nothing he said was new, nothing he recommended was new.  Even his agreements to previously negated issues/points of view, were so shallow as to be meaningless. 
     This then is my analysis, for what it's worth.  President Obama could not surmount his belief that we, the people,  had somehow betrayed him.  He wants to serve another term as I have previously written to give his Progressives the opportunity to complete the "transformation" of America.  I believe that we, the people, got that last night.  He offered no real enthusiasm  for what he was speaking about.  For a moment there, in the very beginning, I heard the "real" Obama slip out...that cocky, self aggrandizing man that has lived his life in a golden room where he could do no wrong.  I thought I heard the "preacher" start to come...he is very good when he gets in that mode.  But, it didn't work.  Especially last night when Gifford was still fresh in the minds of the country, when the Left and Right were "on dates" with each other and not when he was sitting with Speaker Boehner behind him.  Even the crowd was not enthusiastic and I think that had to do with the seating arrangement.  Have you ever done something you normally wouldn't but when in a crowd or a group you do?  Obama was alone last night....he did not have his game on...his adoring majority was gone last night and I almost felt sorry for him...not for long, minutes only...why?  Because this is what he and his wife have worked diligently for for over a quarter of a century.  It's like having the brass ring slip off the tips of your fingers at the very last possible moment. 
     President Obama will now change America as much as he can through executive orders...have his czars make new regulations through the departments across the capitol and try to hoodwink for the rest.   The problem is that he has not only some extraordinary Republicans and conservatives this time out, but that terrible faction The Tea Party promises to try and keep him and his on the truth path.  It will tough and at the end he may not want a second term after all.  This is not what he signed on for.  His "contract" somewhere with someones, promised adulation, complete freedom to do whatever he and his cronies wanted, power beyond imagination.  And, that he got in the first two years.  Obama was so convinced of this that and had such a large ego that he thought he would be able to get away with a disdainful, hateful and partisan attitude towards the other side.  He too, called the Tea Party names as did his supporters in congress, departments and every union under the sun in America.  He never said one word when union thugs beat a man on the street, forced themsleves on a businessman's lawn and scared the kids that were there, and, he never chastised them for egg throwing and hate rhetoric they use continually. He himself was not only hateful, he was rude and his hubris knew no bounds.  Since he had never "been" an average American, never had to hold a real job, never work for his education, never look for work on his own he simply could not, as his Mrs. does not, understand you and me.  That part of him, I don't know about Mrs. Obama, didn't change with the circumstances of governing badly for 21 months.  He left much of the changes he and his party wanted with people like Nancy Pelosi.  Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer and hatemongers like Clyburn, Waters and the rest of his majority in both houses.  They don't play nice, never have and they did whatever they wanted behind closed doors without any....any  input from the other side of the aisle.  I have watch this group of progressives for a long time among many others and I can tell you that they have been in the game long enough not to worry about getting what they want....they will bully, lie, cheat and try to twist every committee into something ugly and useless.  But, it won't work like the past anymore.  Now we also have Republicans coming from the Tea Party and they don't want to play the game the old bulls have for decades.  Obama will not be able to ram anything through.  He will be held accountable for being disingenuous as in his attack, untruthfully, against the Supreme Court last year....this year there was a man missing in formation at the front.  He needs to be careful more decent people don't desert him...he will come to need and depend on those who will tell him what he doesn't want to hear...they will be the only ones.
     And, of course, the loss of complete power by the truly uberprogressive, disingenuous lamestream media the rise of Fox News and the Internet will make it more difficult for anyone not tell us, the people, what we must hear to save our country.
