Posting!!!

05/19/2012

This a post and answer from me.  This is the only way I can fight for the right things that I believe in.  I am an
 independent , traditionalist:

Milo Alan Fabian Kudos to Mr Romney who did the right thing. Muckraking, as done by Fox News and Mr Klein may sell ads and books, but the real issues as Mr Romney points out, should be paramount. As I recall, thePresident renounced his association with Wright, and he should follow the good approach laid out by his honorable opponent as regards appropriate campaign advertising.

Sue Harris Get off the hate mobile...knock off the Fox references unless you actually pay for cable and watch daily, Saturday and Sunday you know nothing about Fox and I can say this because every single left wing extreme prog uses the exact same line!! To be fair, balanced and honest, the Progressive Left extremists do the Muckracking better than anyone else on the planet...and of course the prez renounced his association, wouldn't you after the bit we were able to see and hear from him. The truth hurts, that's for sure, but the lying and cheating can destroy countries and people. The Left is a master at these tactics and you have to be blind, deaf and dumb not to see, hear and understand that!!

WSJ - Do we need religion...

05/19/2012

I believe that it goes to the heart of hominid beginnings.  The fear engendered by the unknown in their world, the inexplicable.  Humans have forever assigned reasons for things...we think we are smarter, better more, more just because it is 2012.  We are still the same slightly bent over beings running up trees out of fear, having no understanding of conception, birth, death and the hundreds of everyday living things that they and many today simply do not understand.  Religion was assigned that place in the human that cried out for peace, knowledge, love and used God to lay out reasons to be better to assign consequences for the bad.  To allow the unknown to lack the fear that was a daily part of their lives.  And, look what we have done with God and religion just in the past 250 or so years.  First we created a new place for a new idea for mankind, named it America, fought for it and bled.  250 years later, we think we have grown up enough to throw it all away and try to live by our "brains"...how is that "hopey & changey thing" working for us?  Have we stopped killings, hunger, ignorance, bigotry?  No, but we sure worry about the food people eat, their weight, we immerse ourselves in hatemongering, racism straight and reverse, continue to lie, cheat and steal.  WOW!  Have we come a long way or what!

Fun, fun, fun for me!!

05/15/2012

Dustin Stockton noticed by response in Politico...how much fun is that!!!!!!  Here's a partial of the email sent to me:

So a lot of people are questioning what we were trying to accomplish by going after Tom Coburn for saying that taxes should be raised in multiple public venues. This plays a large part in what I'm going to say to the Tea Party Caucus in Washington on Wednesday and our goal to pass No Budget, No Pay soon. Before I tell you what I'm going to say to the Caucus, I want to share the following comment that somebody posted to Tom Coburn's response editorial in Politico and say thank you. I am so grateful for this eloquent response and for everybody who responded to our call to action. There were other great responses and I wish I could recognize each of you individually for your comments on the blog posts, editorials, and in social media but I have to do it one at a time or this email would be too large to send out!

This was posted by someone called sharinlite and even though we have never met I am extremely proud to have you as a member of our team.

John,

I am a Senior Citizen, woman, wife, mother and grandmother....never owned a business but  worked for nearly fifty years....here is my take on your article. First, let me say that I strongly believe that what words you use and how you place them will convey your emotional response to an issue....you're not happy, but more, you accuse Stockton of your own shortcomings:

1. Guessing that Tom is about 65 years old, spent 25 years growing up and going to school to be doctor, and then will have spent 20 years as a politician, then he has not "spent most of his life" in business and medicine...but I'll grant he has about 40% in that arena;

2. Stockton is not a politician, is not in congress but, using the Internet he has on many, many occasions supported tax cuts and reduction in spending....with specificity, I don't know if that included Tom's choices, but I doubt Dustin has "never" supported or encouraged us to support Tom...he always supports cutting taxes and spending...low blow here John;

3. Grover's tax pledge is and can only be as good as those who support those positions allow it to be...again, Grover is not a politician, but Tom is;

4. Yes, those would be tax increases and they will have to suck it up like the rest of us;

5. You mean to tell me that there are no "liberals" in the old sense, or "Blue Dogs" in the current sense in Congress? Manchin comes to mind and there are others, after all John, there are 51 on the Left in the Senate.....what we need to do is put pressure on those as the election nears.

Finally, you tend to let your "emotions" get in the way of your article...don't get snarky John that is a prog tool. I've spent 15 years reading the Left's comments and postings and after a couple of visits to the worst offenders...I have not chosen to go back but, do read those Leftist and Prog sites that allow for some moderation....those are enjoyable and learning and teaching experiences, I've found, for me.

P.S. at Stockton's request, I have tweeted Tom and called his office and left "my opinion".....

How awesome is that! The establishment attacked and you responded in a way that I was incapable of doing, YOU ROCK! It made my day when I read your comment, it inspired me to work harder, thank you!

Now let me tell you what we accomplished by going after Coburn. This week we are going to be pushing for a series of stand alone legislation and it starts with No Budget, No Pay. No Budget, No Pay will not fix all the nations problems but it is a step in the right direction. Already, the show of force we sent with Coburn is only a hint of the fury we will bring if Republican members of the US Senate undercut us on this piece of legislation. While these will not be my exact words, because I never prepare my remarks, I will generally be saying the following things to the members of the House who identify as Tea Party and any other conservatives that will listen:

You are in a unique position and we need your help. As the general election nears this is an opportunity to show that the Tea Party has the ability to restore confidence in government by passing common sense, stand alone legislation. We have tested a number of issues but the policy that resonates best with the people is No Budget, No Pay. We need Members of Congress and their staff to walk us through the process of getting this legislation passed. If someone tries to muddy it up with amendments or block it in subcommittee, we need to know about it so that we can mobilize and publicly shame that person. We will work to get every member of the House and Senate on the record on this issue. I challenge anyone running for office to answer why they think they should get paid when they can't perform the most basic responsibilities of their job.

Tom Coburn vs. Dustin Stockton, Politico

Response #1
May. 11, 2012 - 10:20 AM EST

The IRS stated in April, 2012, that tax revenues had left a "surplus" of $50 billion for the first time in three and one/half years...Politico should spend some investigative time of their minions to find out the how and why?  The IRS says the "why" is because more taxes were paid....if that is true, then the only thing we need in this country is to find jobs for the 22 million unemployed....that would be a great beginning to getting our debt under control, no?  Then, reform the tax code and get rid of subsidies for any and all corporate, non-profits, ethenol, oil, natural gas...as a start.  Then we move towards those subsidies like Planned Parenthood that can take care of itself....then we can start on those monstrous subsidies like Medicaid.  We wouldn't have to raise taxes and we could get the debt down and NO MORE DEFICITS!!!!!  There, problem begun to be solved....but, really, what we did has been to spend trillions on entitlements, subsidies for cars, solar, wind that cannot help for at least a quarter of a century and the biggest boondoggle of all a two thousand, seven hundred, pretty much blank bill called Obamacare that has had so much spending thrown into it that when it really gets going, this bankrupt nation will go the way of the Greeks....is that what you guys want???

Response #2

May. 11, 2012 - 10:28 AM EST

Didn't Jesus say:  give to Ceasar what is Ceasar's....to God what is God's?  In the end it has nothing to with Morman vs Catholic vs Black Liberation Theology...it has to with having a good heart, honest intentions...but is is silly for those who say, NO I cannot or will not vote because....or those that would choose Obama because he is a devil we know...or those that are so ideological like Paul supporters or the progressives we are fighting for the America's right as we know it to exist., that we lose the forest and the trees.

This is a time of choice...it is up to you and I because the progs will do everything dirty, immoral and unethical to get Barack back into the White House...and make no mistake, it is not just progs in America but around the world that want a level living field for all as long as they get to choose for each and everyone of us what that field will be and use our tax money to fund it!!

Don't be blind..look..don't be deaf...listen...don't be dumb, understand!! The truth does set you free.

LOSS, a terrible thing

5/7/2012

Loss is hard and when I write the loss of something that may be good, helpful and enlighting is hard...several times lately I have had several "losses"...wish I knew where they went so I could retrieve them...but, O.K., it's something else we have to learn to live with...right?

Re the French and Greek debacle

I do care....very much, but because they are hominids, but they generally, cannot understand that when you are in peril then helped, then you're in further peril, someone helps, again, then you truly reach an end in the perilous business you turn your head and look to someone, somewhere else to help....there is no help available anymore.  70 years of entitlement without contemplation of the situation or the future results seem to me to be a total waste of our time and money!!! I have always thought that the road to hades is not paved in the gold as they have promised, but in the intentions of progressives who think they know better.

    Did anyone seriously believe that a country coming from a dictatorship with military backing would allow anything like democracy? In particular, the Middle East, where the horror and threat of the Muslim Brotherhood taking power was real? Where do people live on this planet? Don't they read, know history or understand what is right before their eyes???? Democracy is a western word. It is not a word the Middle East can understand because of Islam. The "Arab Spring" has been the cause of extremists to gain power, nothing more.

OOPS!!!!!

5/7/2012
An old post I thought I had published....still relevant today:

August 04, 2011 @ $:13 pm PST

I watched a program from the UK called the Frontline Club...talk about bias!  But, to be fair, the progressive leftist tilt, by their own admission, is caused by that nasty chip they insert in each frontal lobe at universities all over the world. Since they could not and have not I watched a program from the UK called the Frontline Club...talk about bias!  But, to be fair, the progressive leftist tilt, by their own admission, is caused by that nasty chip they insert in each frontal lobe at universities all over the world. Since they could not and have not proven any reason or facts on their positions, they decided in the l960's to embed them!  That's why, so often we cannot believe what they say or how they understand what they read or hear.  Watch Krugman, Pelosi, Reid, Schumer and the rest of the Uberprogressive leftwing nuts!

Here is a strategy I heard someone say today, can't remember who but, a solid way to stop the Tea Party influence: have Democrats vote for this atrocity in place of every no vote by a Tea Party member...then, come election next year they can say look, I am moderate. I voted to save our country when the Tea Party member I am running against voted NO," Sneaky, no? Watch what the uberprogressives are capable of....the right has no idea how to fight so we need to get as many Tea Party candidates elected as possible to begin to cut out the cancer the new Democratic Party represents to the health of our Republic.

08/03/11 Response Media Bias

That is just the barest surface of the problem:   l930-40's numerous Jewish intellectuals and elitists fled Germany and settled in the Northeast...later many became influential and Columbia was their "home"...they didn't like American ways so they created their own "world"...still exists today.
l920-60's A large number of "citizens" were very much into communism, socialism, totalitarism, came as travellers to the United States to undermine us from the ground up.
The Rosenbergs that were executed were agents of  Russia as was Alger Hiss (Nixon created the hate for himself on this)Helen Gahin Brown was also a traveller and many of the blacklisted people in the media were very much in favor of the "ideas" of Lenin and Marx...many still are.
In the l930's, a group known as the "Douglas Democrats" that wished to "change" America and had failed since the l800's, joined the Democratic Party and began the takeover you see today...they called themselves progressives as they do now.
1960's was a time for Ayers and his ilk and yes, many of the longhaired anarchists became professors...what a better way than to indoctrinate from within.  My brother got caught up with a "pinko" group and helped the FBI when he wised up and wanted out.
The "Women's Movement" was taken over by those groups and have been very successful in castrating our man and turning our boys into useless toyboys.  That movement was about money, period....when I co-founded a N.O.W. group, those were the only members...why was I included?  So they could say they were balanced!  Kinda of what the progs do today.  Anyway...thank for letting me rant...don't do it often enough!!! any reason or facts on their positions, they decided in the l960's to embed them!  That's why, so often we cannot believe what they say or how they understand what they read or hear.  Watch Krugman, Pelosi, Reid, Schumer and the rest of the Uberprogressive leftwing nuts!

Did you get your man?

7:40am MT

Comment in the LATimes re the "secret service" scandal:

"Men" know how to keep 'em zipped up! Boys called males do not.  There is a genetic predisposition to hump anything that looks female, and that probably includes males too...although to be fair you don't hear about homosexuals in these sorts of trashy bits.

There is a small percentage of male children that grow up to be decent, honest, hardworking and supportive husband, fathers, uncles, grandfathers.  No wonder the recent study of working women in high paying, good perks, long vacation power jobs are unhappy with their lot.  I would be too.  Having had the experience of a male and then a man, let me tell you the world would be a much better place if the feminists hadn't begun their manhate campaign back in the l960's....when you look at the landscape of America and note the dearth of good men, it makes you wonder why no one corralates that to the state of America today:  55 million abortions; tens of thousands of criminals running the street, the government both local and federal.  Welcome to the new progressive America that the media like the LATimes and academia have nurtured for the last 50 years.

Tikun Olam

04/17/12 8:20 am MT

I think that when you reach a certain age and having read, listened to and watched the world the majority of that time, it is vastly easier for you to "post" your thoughts on subjects you are reading.  This morning reading Jewish Ideas Daily I put down faster and cleaner what I had come to about "why the Jews" question I've asked for most of my life:

For decades I asked "why the Jews"...then I began asking "why do the Jews.." and I think I finally found an answer to the second question and although I have a good feeling about my answer to the first...it is the second that has become, for me, a Gentile, the most important.  I have discovered the "why do" is something you all call Tikun Olam.  It is the cry of humans millennia old and the Jews because of their "religion" that developed over thousands of years.  But, in wanting social justice, the belief that if we just "want" it, it will become universal is untrue.  As studies and statistics have shown in the last decades:   social justice is not achievable if attempted by bureaucrats...it requires the very thing that is disappearing from America...faith.
Faith in something greater than ourselves.  Secularism is the new religion and look around to see what it has wrought and portends for America's future.

Us Old People

04/13/12 9:35am MT

Sometimes easier to copy and paste postings then trying to think them up here, why?  Don't know:

     Didn't say I didn't get it Christine, just that I did not see it...however, I didn't see that it was in response to Stephen Ray.  I never thought he was, but  his point is valid....when you are broke because over 60% of your money is used for entitlements and raising taxes will not cure the problem now or in the long run, there is not much they can do....we gave up on our old people when Social Security was passed into law...the thought must have been:  we have established a safety net so we can now take care of other things.  The problem is that, SS was expanded to the point that today only 2-3 people support one old person when it was 1-16.  There is simply not enough money now or in the future to take of the multi millions that will retire in the next 20 years and pretty much every single one will take up Medicare, or whatever it will be called.  Why?  Because the premium is peanuts compared with what is now so high and will only get higher in the future.  We have two choices as I see it:  we figure out, without ideology or preconditions, fair and just, a way through this morass or, try and get rid of the old people as quickly as possible.  It has already begun in Europe.  This article is just one of the many within the past few years.

White and Right

04/15/12 8:50am MT

Read the editorial on CNN.com by :

Mary Matalin, a Republican strategist, is a CNN political contributor

What can you say?  This editorial is so well written, direct and to the point, that Mary should give lessons to the other 95% self admitted leftists in the media.  Her most important point and the last is that it, "top...down".  Her second point is about feminism.  As one of those "original" marchers in the 1960's, I apologize to younger women loading my groceries or working the Lowe's or Home Depot  all the time.  Feminism has never done a thing for me, a middle class woman with three kids.  It promised a great deal but didn't tell me it would all go to the upper class females, like Rosen and her mentor, Dunne.  Even the poor women don't get much more than they did in the 60-80's... welfare, medicaid and free abortions. The Obama campaign and the President himself truly does not know "me"...does not know struggle and strife.  He was protected by his mentors, assisted throughout his life.  But, there is even a more important point:  the President does not know what America is truly all about.  He was swallowed the poison fed to him and all Liberal/progressives for the last fifty years:  it is the Right and White that is wrong, period, paragraph end of quote!!

P.S.  She is married to James Carville....remember Carville?  I have come to admire him, compared to Axelrod he is a saint!!
